As you might have guessed, my name is Giulia Vincenzo and I am a Nutritionist Biologist.I graduated from Sapienza University of Rome in Biological Sciences and I have a Masters in Biology Applied to Biomedical Research (yes, the president of the graduate commission was also wrong to pronounce the whole thing in proclaiming me) and a II level Master in Dietetics and Nutrition of the Catholic University of Rome, of which I am now a teacher. First information about me: Ive spent the best years of my life studying and Im not someone who travels willingly.The second thing you need to know about me (and that will surely emerge from my articles) is that I am a biologist of those nerds to the end: I love biology in all its nuances, I even found it interesting to study the reproductive habits of extinct animals or the symmetry of the leaves of trees that I will never see and I insist on explaining to my grandmother why it is chemically appropriate to add salt after the water for the pasta has started to boil. I come from the world of research, but although I was very fascinated by the work "behind the counter" with pipettes and infectious, radioactive or neurotoxic materials (at best), in the end it was not for me. I found myself in the field of nutrition as a fortuitous coincidence, when I found myself reflecting on my future in front of a succulent plate of pasta, mushrooms and sausage. So it was that I decided to dedicate my life to studying that wonderful combination of science and pleasure: food.Third information about me: meal time for me is the best of the day.The passion for the study of biology and chemistry combined with the desire to do a job that is useful to others led me to what is now my place in the world, happy to do wonderful work.
